when do I vote?

Election day:  Tuesday, May 12 (8am-8pm)

you're eligible to vote if you're:

18 or older  /  Canadian citizen  /  lived in BC for 6 months
 

not registered to vote? no problem! as long as you have the I.D. listed below, as a Canadian Citizen living in BC, can vote.

BC driver’s licence or BCID or Certificate of Indian Status

If the address is out-dated, bring a current utility bill along with a current address.

two pieces of official mail with your name and address

- At least one of the documents must also contain the voter’s residential address
- A phone or hydro bill is a good example of an official document
